In this role, you’ll be the face of HP for our customers, delivering exceptional on-site service, diagnostics, and repairs. You’ll work from your home base in the greater South Carolina area, traveling to customer sites to ensure their digital printing solutions run flawlessly.\nThis is more than a technical role - it’s about building trust, solving problems, and keeping businesses moving, while maintaining high customer satisfaction levels and addressing customer-related issues promptly.\nWhat You’ll Do\nInstall & Configure: Set up HP Indigo Digital Printing presses, including hardware, software, and network components. \nMaintain & Repair: Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and software issues. \nCustomer Training: Educate customers on proper usage, color management, and best practices. \nProject Execution: Follow installation and escalation plans to meet deadlines and quality standards. \nProactive Support: Use monitoring tools to identify and prevent potential issues before they impact operations. \nCustomer Engagement: Provide clear updates, resolve concerns promptly, and maintain high satisfaction levels. \nWhat You Bring\nTechnical Expertise: \nStrong mechanical, electrical, and electronic troubleshooting skills \nKnowledge of digital printing press technology \nSolid computer/networking skills \nEducation & Experience:\nHigh School Diploma/General Education Diploma (GED)/Higher Secondary education or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence \nTypical candidate possesses 4-6 years in field service, technical support, or printing press repair \nExcellent communication and problem-solving abilities \nAbility to work independently and under pressure \nOther Requirements:\nValid driver’s license and reliable transportation \nAbility to lift, bend, and stoop throughout the day \nSpecialized Skills: \nHP Indigo knowledge \nPrinting industry knowledge \nAbility to integrate hardware/software solutions \nLocation:\nCandidate must reside in the greater Georgia area. \nThis is a field-based role with 80% travel to customer sites. Travel distances will vary day-to-day.\nThe pay range for this position is $29 to $43 USD per hour (applies to United States of America candidates only).
