Our internships have a thoughtful balance of networking, executive speakers, community involvement, big meaty projects (no paper filing here!) and fun!\nWork Description:\nThe Finance Data Science Intern will support finance transformation and process improvement initiatives by leveraging data science, AI, and automation techniques to enhance reporting, analytics, and decision-making capabilities.\nThe intern will analyze financial and operational data, develop data-driven insights, build automated solutions and dashboards, and explore AI-enabled opportunities to improve efficiency and business intelligence across the Finance organization.\nThey will work closely with finance and GBU teams to solve real-world business challenges through a combination of financial analysis, programming, and data science methodologies.\nAI & Advanced Analytics\nExplore AI and machine learning techniques to improve financial analysis and operational processes.\nEvaluate opportunities to leverage generative AI for reporting, automation, and knowledge management.\nConduct exploratory data analysis and statistical modeling.\nAutomation & Process Improvement\nIdentify manual processes that can be streamlined through automation.\nDevelop Python-based scripts and automated workflows.\nImprove reporting efficiency and data accessibility.\nDocument and recommend process improvements.\nDashboard & Visualization Development\nCreate and enhance Power BI dashboards and executive reporting tools.\nDevelop KPI scorecards and business performance visualizations.\nPresent analytical findings through clear, data-driven storytelling.\nCross-Functional Collaboration\nPartner with Finance, IT, and Data Scientists to gather requirements and deliver solutions.\nParticipate in project reviews, team meetings, and stakeholder presentations.\nCommunicate project progress and key findings to leadership.\nEducation and Experience Required:\n3rd Year of bachelor's degree completed in Finance or computer science.\n\nMust be enrolled full time at an accredited university.\n\nHas no more than 24 months of prior work experience professionally related to the intern requisition they are applying to (not including internships, teaching assistance, research work, or military experience)\n\nAble to obtain work authorization in the United States in 2027, and not require sponsorship in the future\n\nCommon Tools & Technologies\nMicrosoft Excel (advanced analytics, financial modeling, reporting)\nPython (data analysis, automation, machine learning)\nSQL (data extraction and transformation)\nPower BI (dashboard development and visualization)\nAI Tools (Copilot, Generative AI, predictive analytics tools)\nPower Query\nData Visualization \nExpected Internship Deliverables\nBy the end of the internship, the intern is expected to:\nDeliver an analytics, automation, or AI-focused project with measurable business value.\nDevelop at least one automated solution that improves a finance process.\nCreate dashboards or visualizations that support data-driven decision making.\nPresent findings and recommendations to Finance leadership.\nWe are looking for visionaries who are ready to make an impact on the way the world works.
