The role serves as the escalation point for different issues in the related area of work. The role also identifies opportunities for improvement, makes recommendations, and assures effective business controls through review, analysis, and verification. Responsibilities\nEnsures execution of accounting processes and performs analysis of transactional accounting information to support decision-making.\nActs as the primary escalation point for customer issues related to area of expertise.\nFacilitates the implementation, adoption and integration of new accounting processes and systems across the entire organization.\nEngages proactively in the identification of gaps and opportunities for improvement and makes recommendations for the same.\nExecutes and ensures the effectiveness of business controls by conducting comprehensive reviews, analyses, and verifications.\nSupports the department team by assisting in training and mentoring.\nCoordinates and oversees month-end closing process to ensure financial data accuracy and resolves general ledger discrepancies promptly.\nAssists in preparing and analyzing financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.\nApplies extensive knowledge, resolves complex issues, and recommends improvements through creative and effective approaches.\nCoordinates the functional work within the department, assists various departments, monitors process execution, and fosters positive working relationships with associates and management. Education & Experience Recommended\nHigh School Diploma/General Education Diploma (GED)/Higher Secondary education or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.\nTypically has 6-8 years of related work experience, preferably in financial management, internal audit, accounting, or a related field.
