Ensure product designs comply with applicable regulatory and safety standards. Provide technical support for NPI projects, ensuring that all necessary documentation is completed in a timely and accurate manner.\nWhat a Home Office Writing System Engineerdoes in HP:\nThis role is to take part in printer system development to demonstrate PHA and/or Ink baseline performance. For example: Nozzle health, edge roughness, spray, decap, flowrate, color and other print quality metrics will be the standard performance metrics to monitor while looking for pen/ink/printer related interaction issues.\nTake part and collaborate on Pen fluidic and ink characterization. The WS engineer will be responsible of providing the data that can illustrate the expected fluidic arch and ink performance and highlight any issues with the integrated system. \nAutopsy/Triage/Failure tracking. This task involves collecting failed printheads, performing the initial triage, coordinating the appropriate failure analysis work, summarizing, reporting out the analysis, and assign next steps for each one of them.\nLead issue resolution using structured lean problem-solving methods.\nClose collaboration with other print cartridge team in Corvallis/San Diego and printer partners in Singapore.\nInteract with Ink Supplies Organization (ISO) manufacturing teams. Transfer & support printhead manufacturing qualification.\nInd ividuals who do well in this role at HP, usually possess:\nBachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Material/Chemicalengineering or relevant.\nTechnical breath & system approach.\nDemonstrated analytical and empirical problem-solving skills.\nSystem thinker, looking for connections, and comfortable with things being dynamic. \nGood flexibility and adaptability are key.\nFluent in spoken & written English.\nExcellent communication and collaboration skills.\nAbility to work across multiple time zones / both within and outside one's own work group\nAvailable for occasional travel (25%).\nCross-Org Skills\nEffective Communication\nResults Orientation\nLearning Agility\nDigital Fluency\nCustomer Centricity\nDisclaimer\nThis job description describes the general nature and level of work performed in this role.
