Our portfolio of national and super-regional brands and licensed products includes Hood, Heluva Good, Lactaid, Blue Diamond Almond Breeze, Planet Oat and more.\nSchedule: 12-hour shifts, 2-2-3 rotation\nJob Summary:\nThe Maintenance Supervisor will manage the everyday operation and upkeep of the equipment and building, planning and implementing projects and safety issues within and around the plant.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\n Manages day- to-day activities of a team of direct reports and communicates daily with Maintenance Manager and/or Plant Manager.\n Supports operational departments by maintaining equipment and resolves mechanical malfunctions to increase productivity, job capabilities, and equipment capabilities at the department’s request.\n Establishes and maintains a positive work environment including but not limited to personal development, training, and safety.\n Analyzes maintenance work orders and assigns maintenance personnel to complete all necessary orders. Follows up with the assigned personnel as needed until the order is complete.\n Plan and execute projects in conjunction with what is assigned by the Maintenance Manager and/or Plant Manager.\n Controlling inventories, parts ordering, and vendor communication. Focus on improving operations and improving costs.\n Assists in the scheduling of maintenance team to ensure projects are completed.\n Supports SQF (Safe Quality Foods) by maintaining food safety and food quality through completing job tasks and maintaining the work area in a sanitary manner.\n Serves as backup to those employees in the leadership role within the Maintenance department, and gives technical support and guidance to maintenance personnel as needed.\n Other duties as assigned by the Plant Manager.\nEducation and Experience:\n A minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance within a plant or manufacturing industry. Associates or Bachelor’s Degree preferred.\n At least 3 years of supervisory or management experience required.\n Industry background in Food or Beverage preferred.\n Demonstrated experience within mechanical and electrical systems.\n Experience within PLC’s and Ammonia Refrigeration preferred\n Demonstrated experience within mechanical and electrical systems.\nSkills and Competencies:\n Able to deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events.\n Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner.\n Gathers and analyzes information skillfully.\n Inspires and motivates others to perform well.\nPhysical Requirements:\n Standing: Long periods (a minimum of 6 hours).\n Sitting: Occasionally for long periods.\n Walking: Occasionally\n Bending: Occasionally.\n Twisting of Spine: Occasionally.\n Lifting: Light (less than 30lbs) infrequently distance- 100 ft.\n Pushing/Pulling: under 75lbs without assistance infrequently.\n#LI-Onsite #LI-GD1\nExact compensation may vary based on skills, experience and location.\nThe pay range for this position is\n$90,300—$106,100 USD\nReady to join us?
