Our portfolio of national and super-regional brands and licensed products includes Hood, Heluva Good, Lactaid, Blue Diamond Almond Breeze, Planet Oat and more.\nJob Summary:\nThe primary responsibility of this position is to safely and efficiently package quality products in a manner that is consistent with HP Hood LLC standards.\nShift: 2:00pm to 10:30pm; Wednesday and Sunday off. \nEssential Functions:\nPerform all tasks and functions related to operating and cleaning filling equipment.\nOperate and clean multiple high speed filling machines in a sanitary, efficient, and effective manner.\nComplete paperwork as per government regulations and HP Hood requirements.\nSafely operate all assigned equipment following JHA requirements.\nConsistently meet production quotas.\nComply with all policies and guidelines outlined for production and sanitation processes.\nParticipate in cross-training efforts to maximize departmental efficiency.\nWork in a cooperative manner with managers, supervisors and peers.\nGeneral:\nFollow all company safety policies and procedures. Able to demonstrate knowledge of safety areas reviewed in the safety orientation program.\nMust be able to adapt to changing production schedules as necessary.\nExecute assigned duties with minimal supervision.\nAvailable for required overtime to support business needs and/or critical situations.\nPerform assigned duties satisfactorily and in a timely manner.\nPerform assigned duties following \"Good Manufacturing Practices.”\nActively participate in special teams representing the production department.\nMaintain a clean & safe work environment.\nPerform all other related duties as assigned.\nQualifications, Education & Experience:\nHigh School Diploma or GED equivalent.\nReading & writing proficiency (English language) and ability to identify colors.\nBasic math skills.\nAbility to work well as part of a team.\nGood communication skills.\nMulti-tasked individual.\nAbility to work independently with little supervision.\nForklift certification required.\nPhysical Requirements:\nAbility to move at a quick pace.
