Our portfolio of national and super-regional brands and licensed products includes Hood, Heluva Good, Lactaid, Blue Diamond Almond Breeze, Planet Oat and more.\nJob Summary:\nUnder the direction of the Distribution Manager, will provide all aspects of leadership to HP Hood site drivers as well as the Distribution/Transportation Department by collaborating with drivers on the road conducting audits and training.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\nProvide all aspects of leadership to HP Hood site drivers and the Distribution/Transportation Department.\nNew Hire trainings to include at least two ride alongs a week.\nMinimum of 50% of work schedule will be on the road conducting audits and trainings. \nAssist the team in all aspects of promoting the company safety program, immediately identifying, and eliminating risks and driving safe work habits and behaviors.\nAssist Distribution Management on all motor vehicle accident reports and conduct injury reporting and investigations.\nProvide daily updates to internal and external customers on an as needed basis.\nMonitor route times\nParticipate in investigations and assist to resolve customer complaints as needed.\nAssist in management of company fleet needs and equipment repairs.\nMaintain DOT, HOS, and FMCSA compliance.\nFunction as a back-up to drive routes in the event of a driver call out.\nOther duties as assigned.\nEducation and Experience: \nCDL-A required.\nExperience in route structuring, safety, and customer satisfaction\nProven knowledge of DOT, FMCSA and HOS regulations and distribution safety management\nPrior experience in supervising commercial drivers preferred.\nSkills and Competencies:\nExcellent people skills required.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills required. \nMicrosoft Office & Outlook.\nOther Information/Physical Requirements \nWorking Conditions:\nOffice environment\nOn the road driving duties\nPhysical Demands:\nPosition is primarily based in an office environment but is subject to the same physical demands of the drivers - please see the attached list of physical demands.\nSQF Requirements/Responsibilities\nSupport SQF by maintaining food safety and food quality through completing job tasks and maintaining the work area in a sanitary manner. \nSupport biosecurity and GMP measures. \nWork with SQF site lead and HR to support SQF training efforts. \nReport food safety problems to personnel with authority to initiate action.\nBackup duties are covered by other distribution supervisor or the distribution Manager when not on site. \nSite Specific Requirements:\nMaintain SQF Documentation and prepare reports (if requested).\nServes a backup for the Distribution Drivers and their SQF responsibilities.\nExact compensation may vary based on skills, experience and location.\nThe pay range for this position is\n$85,000—$105,000 USD\nReady to join us?
