Our portfolio of national and super-regional brands and licensed products includes Hood, Heluva Good, Lactaid, Blue Diamond Almond Breeze, Planet Oat and more.\nJob Summary:\nThe Shipper will perform various functions in the Warehouse to complete shipments by processing and loading orders.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\nFollow all Safety SOPs and procedures\nPerform Loading, Case Picking, VNA and Receiving functions per SOPs\nProvide break to Dock Shipper when needed\nOperates a stretch wrapper, forklift, dock equipment and battery changer in a safe manner\nFulfill orders per SOPs and customer/facility guidelines\nRead/understand information on the load tag to verify quantity for skid is correct\nSecure cases per SOPs on quality pallets to ensure product integrity is maintained during transit\nReceive, label and perform basic tasks within Warehouse Management System (WMS) for product identification and adjustments\nUtilize inventory management system efficiently and accurately (WMS, Yard Management System (YMS)/Infolink)\nParticipate in Shift Change Brief with prior shift\nInspect equipment and provides work orders for any items in need of repair to Leadership\nKeep assigned areas and work floor clean and organized\nOther duties as assigned by shift supervisor\nEducation and Experience: \nHigh School Diploma or equivalent\nExperience or training as a forklift operator is desirable\nPrior experience in the manufacturing industry is desirable\nSkills and Competencies:\nAdapts to changes in the work environment\nStrong written and verbal communication\nExhibits ability to learn and apply new skills\nWork effectively with team members to accomplish department and plant goals\nPhysical Requirements:\nLifting: Heavy (over 70 lbs.)frequently\nStanding: Long periods (a minimum of 6 hours)\nSitting: Long periods (a minimum of 6 hours)\nWalking: Constantly\nAbility to climb: frequently\nBending: Frequently\nAbility to work with arms outstretched to the front\nPushing/Pulling: under 75 lbs. without assistance frequently\nAbility to work in refrigerated environment (approximately 32 - 38 degrees)\n\nPerformance Standards:\nComply with performance criteria, standards of conduct, employment procedures and responsibilities as described in the HP Hood Guidebook and applicable site supplement.\nAdhere to all safety and environmental protocols, procedures and training.
