This individual will support inorganic transactions across HP’s Global Business Units acting as a trusted advisor, working closely with senior leaders to establish and drive M&A strategy, priorities, and deal execution.\nJob Description\nThe Corporate Development Associate is a key contributor to the evaluation and execution of acquisitions and divestitures. This high-impact role involves collaboration with senior leaders to drive M&A strategy and deal execution.\nResponsibilities\nBuild and maintain valuation and financial models.\nPrepare clear, data-driven presentations for executive decision-making. Support cross-functional due diligence teams, including coordinating question list preparation, and partnering with the business unit on forecast financial modeling.\nDevelop and maintain strong industry and competitive knowledge.\nConduct market, industry, and competitor research to support business strategy.\nIdentify, screen and value M&A and investment opportunities\nActively participate in enhancing Corporate Development practices and processes.\nEducation and Experience Required: Minimum 2-3 years of experience in Investment Banking, Corporate Development, Transaction Services, Private Equity, or related fields, ideally within the technology sector. Bachelor’s degree in business, finance or related field.\nKnowledge And Skills\nAdvanced financial analysis, modeling, and valuation skills; strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.\nExcellent analytical judgment with the ability to tackle complex projects independently and identify root issues.\nAbility to understand abstract ideas and logically address project objectives with limited direction. Able to determine the facts of the case and reveal root issues\nStrong written and verbal communication skills. Able to convey important messages in a clear & compelling manner.\nFast learner able to adapt to new teams and work well under pressure.\nHigh capacity for work; able to maintain performance over long stretches of time.
