As part of HP's data science community, you will work at the forefront of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Advanced Analytics, applying cutting-edge techniques to solve meaningful business challenges. You'll partner with cross-functional teams to discover opportunities, build intelligent solutions, and communicate insights that influence strategy across the organization.

What You'll Do

As a Data Scientist at HP, you will:

• Harness the power of AI, machine learning, and advanced analytics to uncover insights from large, complex, and diverse datasets.
• Build predictive and prescriptive models that help business leaders make smarter, faster decisions.
• Develop innovative solutions using machine learning, deep learning, natural language processing, and generative AI technologies.
• Partner with engineering, product, and business teams to create scalable data products and intelligent automation solutions.
• Transform analytical findings into compelling stories that inspire action and help stakeholders understand the "why" behind the data.
• Create impactful data visualizations, dashboards, and presentations tailored for both technical and executive audiences.
• Lead data science initiatives from discovery through deployment, ensuring measurable business outcomes.
• Mentor and guide fellow data scientists while helping build a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
• Continuously explore emerging AI technologies, industry trends, and advanced analytical methods to keep HP at the forefront of innovation.

What We're Looking For

You are a data-driven problem solver who is equally comfortable building models, exploring new AI capabilities, and presenting findings to senior leaders.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in data science, machine learning, analytics, or statistical modeling.
• Strong programming skills in Python, SQL, R, or related technologies.
• Experience working with large-scale structured and unstructured datasets.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts through clear, compelling storytelling.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), AI-powered analytics, or intelligent automation solutions.
• Experience deploying machine learning models into production environments.
• Cloud experience with AWS and big data technologies such as Apache Spark.
• Experience mentoring team members or leading analytics projects.
• Professional certifications in Python, SQL, AI, Machine Learning, or Cloud technologies.

The pay range for this role is $105,050 to $161,800 USD annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to United States of America candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
