Role Summary
This role focuses ondesign research, insights, and validation to inform product and experience decisions across hardware, software, and services. The individual will applymixed-method research (qualitative and quantitative) to evaluate user needs, validate concepts, and generate actionable insights for design and product teams.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and executeUX research studies (qualitative and quantitative) to support design and product validation.
Conduct methods such asinterviews, usability testing, surveys, and basic analytics, following established research frameworks.
Analyze and synthesize data intoclear insights, recommendations, and reports for stakeholders.
Support validation of concepts, prototypes, and live experiences to improveusability, usefulness, and overall experience quality.
Collaborate with designers, product managers, and engineers to ensureuser insights are integrated into decision-making.
Contribute to research documentation, insight repositories, and reusable learnings.
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree inHuman Factors, Psychology, Social Sciences, HCI, Design Research, or related field.
Typically2-4 years of experience in UX or market research.
Knowledge & Skills
Foundational experience inUX research methods (qual + quant) and data collection techniques.
Strong analytical skills with ability to translate findings intoactionable insights.
Understanding ofuser-centered design and validation processes.
Clear written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently within defined guidelines and timelines.
Familiarity withUX research platforms (e.g., UserTesting, Suzy, Qualtrics, or similar)
Exposure toAI-assisted research tools (e.g., for synthesis, survey generation, or insight analysis)
Experience withremote, unmoderated, or scaled research approaches
Basic understanding ofeye-tracking or behavioral analytics tools is a plus
Korean language proficiency is a plus (to support regional research needs).
