Our organization partners across HP to build and operate a number of big data pipelines and data product solutions to drive business insights.\nIn this role, you will be working with Data Architects, Product/Program Managers, and other Experts to strategically accelerate the Big Data Platform for delivering enterprise data across the HP ecosystem.\nJob Summary\nThis role is responsible for deployment through all software development lifecycle stages across distributed systems with a goal of using industry standards and continuous improvements in release processes to ensure scalability and consistency. The role ensures that software applications meet high-quality standards, and implements testing and quality control processes to prevent defects and ensure a positive user experience. The role monitors and scales critical infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and troubleshoots issues.\nResponsibilities\nPerform analysis and proof of concept of new technologies and solutions, both open-source and commercial, and stay current with industry trend\n\nImplement and integrate Infrastructure as Code platform building blocks\n\nTest system integrity, implement designs, application developments and other processes related to infrastructure, making improvements as needed\n\nBuilding and maintaining tools, solutions and services associated with deployment and the operations platform, ensuring that all meet our customer service standards and reduce errors\n\nAutomate operational processes as needed, with accuracy and in compliance with our security requirements\n\nExperience in requirements definition and transforming concepts into workable process models and solutions\n\nTroubleshoot issues during testing and production, catching and solving before launch\n\nManaging and deploy product updates/fixes as required while implementing integrations when they arise\n\nMust Have Skills\nMinimum 2 - 5 years DevOps experience supporting enterprise-grade applications\n\nExperience with K8s\n\nExperience with CI/CD\n\nExperience with Python\n\nFamiliar with Terragrunt\n\nExperience with Cloud providers (AWS & Azure)\n\nDesired Skills\nExperience with Databricks and other Big data tools\n\nExperience with Airflow, Helm Charts\n\nExperience with GitOps, Github Enterprise Cloud\n\nAbility to work independently under a fast-paced environment and deliver results under pressure\n\nDemonstrated working knowledge of software engineering fundamentals (i.e. developing, testing, debugging, etc..) running on close based platforms\n\nKnowledge of Agile development methodology and software development principles and strategies\n\nImplement services (i.e. REST APIs, micro services, authentication, authorization) and integrate with other systems in Python/Java/JavaScript\n\nEducation\nBachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or equivalent\n\nThe pay range for this role is$105,050 to $161,800 USD annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to United States of America candidates only).
