Our internships have a thoughtful balance of networking, executive speakers, community involvement, big meaty projects (no paper filing here!) and fun!\nJob Summary\nThis internship supports ink chemistry and materials engineering projects related to ink formulation, product quality, manufacturing scalability, and supply assurance. The intern will collaborate with R&D, manufacturing, and supplier teams to conduct experiments, analyze technical data, assess risks, and recommend solutions.\nResponsibilities\nFormulate and reformulate inks to meet performance, quality, manufacturability, and supply requirements.\nDesign, conduct, and analyze experiments involving pigments, polymers, colloids, and nanoparticle suspensions.\nSupport the scale-up and transfer of formulations from R&D to manufacturing.\nEvaluate material changes, quality concerns, and potential supply risks.\nCollaborate with suppliers and cross-functional R&D and manufacturing teams.\nDocument experimental results and communicate technical findings and recommendations.\nUse data analysis, project management, and AI-assisted tools to support project execution.\nEducation and Experience Required\nCurrently pursuing a Ph.D. in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related technical field\nMust be enrolled full time at an accredited university.\nHas no more than 24 months of prior work experience professionally related to the intern requisition they are applying to (not including internships, teaching assistance, research work, or military experience).\nAble to obtain work authorization in the United States in 2027, and not require sponsorship in the future.\nAcademic, laboratory, or research experience involving pigment chemistry, polymers, colloids, or nanoparticle suspensions.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and technical communication skills.\nAbility to work effectively with cross-functional teams.\nKnowledge and Skills\nInk formulation or materials formulation.\nExperimental design and data analysis.\nChange management and risk mitigation.\nMicrosoft Excel and PowerPoint.\nAI-assisted productivity and analytical tools.\nWe are looking for visionaries who are ready to make an impact on the way the world works.
