This role serves as a critical bridge between Engineering, Manufacturing, Procurement, and Project Management teams to ensure hardware solutions are validatedand ready for production deployment.\nKey Responsibilities\nHardware Validation & Testing\nPerform hardware validation activities for Factory Services projects and customer solutions.\n\nValidate hardware configurations, components, peripherals, and accessories.\n\nConduct system-level testing to ensure hardware stability and productionreadiness.\n\nIdentify, document, and troubleshoot hardware-related issues during validation activities.\n\nLab Build & System Integration\nAssemble and configure systems according to BOM requirements and engineering specifications.\n\nBuild validation units for engineering investigations, pilot testing, and NPI activities.\n\nSupport hardware integration services involving HP and third-party components.\n\nVerify physical installation and compatibility of integrated solutions.\n\nMaintain build accuracy and configuration compliance.\n\nHardware Procurement & Asset Management\nCoordinate hardware procurement activities using approved procurement systems.\n\nManage lab inventory and hardware assets.\n\nWork with suppliers and procurement teams to obtain required components.\n\nTrack engineering samples, validation platforms, and customer-provided equipment.\n\nEnsure timelyavailability of hardware for engineering projects.\n\nTroubleshooting & Root Cause Analysis\nInvestigate hardware failures and validation issues.\n\nReproduce customer and factory-reported issues.\n\nCollaborate with engineering teams to implement corrective actions.\n\nSupport escalation management and technical investigations.\n\nLab Operations & Maintenance\nMaintain engineering lab infrastructure and equipment.\n\nEnsure compliance with ESD, safety, security, and asset protection requirements.\n\nSupport automation and continuous improvement initiatives within laboratory operations.\n\nMaintain lab documentation and operating procedures.\n\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree or equivalent experience in:\n\nComputer Engineering\n\nElectronics Engineering\n\nInformation Technology\n\nRelated technical field\n\nHands-on experience with:\n\nPC hardware assembly and repair\n\nBIOS and firmware configuration\n\nHardware troubleshooting\n\nOperating system installation and validation\n\nSystem diagnostics\n\nHardware compatibility testing\n\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\n\nAbility to work in a fast-paced engineering and manufacturing environment.\n\nDisclaimer\nThis job description describes the general nature and level of work performed in this role.
