We work on endpoint software security products based on hardware assisted virtualization. You will be responsible for maintaining a Linux image used by virtual machine guests, keeping its open-source components up to date, as well as proactively monitoring for, and quickly responding to, security vulnerabilities that impact these components.\nResponsibilities for the Linux Systems Software Developer:\nDeveloping and maintaining core components of an enterprise class product.\n\nImproving security, reliability, and performance of the product.\n\nResponding quickly to security vulnerability reports for open-source components in the product, and rapidly integrating security fixes.\n\nKeeping open-source components in the product up to date, identifying and solving any problems that new versions may present.\n\nWriting unit tests and automated tests.\n\nWorking in a fast-paced environment that iterates and evolves rapidly.\n\nRequirements for the Linux Systems Software Developer:\nExpert programming experience in C or C++.\n\nExperience of Linux systems development using Yocto Project.\n\nExperience with Linux user and kernel mode development.\n\nExperience of debugging complex systems problems.\n\nBachelor's degree in computer science or related technical field or equivalent.\n\nA great Linux Systems Software Developer will have-\nUnderstanding of components in the OSI networking model with emphasis on TCP/IP protocols.\n\nExperience with black box debugging.\n\nExperience with Windows system (user and/or kernel mode) development.\n\n#LI-Post\nAbout you:\nYou’re out to reimagine and reinvent what’s possible- in your career as well as the world around you.
