The role develops innovative technology solutions that enable strategic initiatives to scale the business efficiently. The role has strong focus on software development and operational excellence using Agile and lean practices to create market differentiated solutions. The role manages the departmental budget, set goals/KPIs for the team and is responsible for performance management of direct reports. Responsibilities\nPlays a critical role in building of various software development projects and platforms while aligning them with business and security strategies and requirements.\nLeads the building of standards, designs, and automates the deployment of software.\nDesigns and develops solutions that protect and manage software products and data.\nDrives technology strategy and engineering roadmaps around software engineering.\nAssists supervisors with project development, including documentation of features, recording of progress, and creation of the testing plan.\nConverts business concepts into the next generation of applications and tools, utilizing adaptive agile methodologies to deliver a minimal viable product to the business.\nAssists in scheduling, determining manpower requirements, and estimating costs to project completion in order to meet user requirements.\nContributes innovative ideas and may lead large cross-functional teams, exercising independent judgment to solve unique and complex problems impacting the business.\nActs as a functional manager within area of expertise, developing strategy and setting functional policy and direction.\nProvides mentorship and guidance to lower-level employees.
