The role is accountable for the strategic plan and execution of procurement activities such as spend management, supplier management, contracting and sourcing in the Finance and Business Consulting Space.\nJob Summary\nThis role is responsible for driving the efficient procurement of goods and services required for the organization's operations, contributing to the overall success of the procurement function. The role leads the implementation of supplier development plans, maximizing purchasing leverage and enhancing supplier performance. The role drives strategic initiatives to lead process standardization and optimize procurement operations. Responsibilities\nProvides complex-level procurement support using subject matter expertise and knowledge of multiple technologies.\nRisk Mitigation and Quality Assurance for internal Purchase Orders (Procure360)\nProcessing of Purchase Requisition Validation and Procure Order Finalization\nSupport HP Internal customer thru the purchase experience for Non-Catalog order\nEnsure Alignment with Global Indirect Procurement Category managers and process leads\nCollaborate with other GIP Teams on problem solving\nLead and collaborate on process improvement project\nAct with sense of urgency to expedite the Purchasing process and ensure customer satisfaction\nSolves complex issues and drives tactical and strategic initiatives, such as leading process standardizations, executing program strategies, coordinating integration of small acquisitions.\nMonitors programs, delivery solutions, key metrics, and process oriented tasks; identifies issues and proposes solutions with limited guidance.\nManages the deployment of business processes and technical capabilities by suppliers and partner groups, facilitating smooth operations.\nProvides independent analytic and strategic support to drive organizational goals.\nProvides procurement process design for the organization, optimizing procurement operations.\nProvides comprehensive training and support to various teams within the organization regarding the procurement process.\n\nEducation & Experience Recommended • Four-year or Graduate Degree in Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Business Administration, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence. • Typically has 4-7 years of work experience, preferably in procurement, category management, operations, or a related field or an advanced degree with 3-5 years of work experience.\n Preferred Certifications •• Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification • Certified Professional In Supply Management (Standards Organizations) Knowledge & Skills • Accounting • Category Management • Cost Reduction • Finance • Invoicing • Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) • Procurement • Project Management • Purchasing • Supplier Management • Supplier Performance Management Cross-Org Skills • Effective Communication • Results Orientation • Learning Agility • Digital Fluency • Customer Centricity Impact & Scope • Impacts multiple teams and may act as a team or project leader providing direction to team activities and facilitates information validation and team decision making process.
