SAP Convergent Mediation Solution Architect

We are seeking an experienced SAP Convergent Mediation (SAP CM) Solution Architect to lead the design, architecture, and delivery of enterprise-scale mediation solutions supporting consumption-based and usage-driven business models. This role is responsible for defining the strategic architecture, ensuring platform scalability and resiliency, driving revenue assurance, and providing technical leadership across the full solution lifecycle.

The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in SAP Convergent Mediation, complex system integrations, cloud-based event processing, and high-volume transaction environments. The role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, product owners, engineering teams, and enterprise architects to deliver innovative, reliable, and scalable mediation solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Architecture & Solution Design

• Lead the end-to-end architecture and design of SAP Convergent Mediation solutions aligned with business strategy, enterprise architecture standards, and consumption-based monetization models.

• Define and maintain the target-state architecture, technology roadmap, and transformation strategy for the mediation platform.

• Design and govern integrations between SAP Convergent Mediation, source systems, cloud services, data platforms, charging engines, and billing applications.

• Evaluate and recommend technology solutions, architectural patterns, and frameworks to enhance performance, maintainability, scalability, and operational efficiency.

• Partner with business and product teams to translate usage and consumption charging requirements into scalable technical solutions.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field.

• 10+ years of experience in enterprise application architecture, integration, or solution design.

• Deep expertise in SAP Convergent Mediation (formerly Digital Route MediationZone).

• Strong understanding of usage-based billing, rating, charging, mediation, and revenue management processes.

• Experience designing large-scale integrations between SAP and non-SAP systems.

• Strong knowledge of cloud technologies, preferably AWS.

• Experience with event processing, API integration, messaging frameworks, ETL pipelines, and data transformation architectures.

• Proven ability to lead cross-functional technical teams and influence senior stakeholders.

• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
