The role builds & maintains relationships with stakeholders across different departments and provide guidance & coaching to reportees in executing their tasks/responsibilities.\nResponsibilities\nGPU Systems Architecture\nDesign and implement low-level GPU integration across Linux and Windows.\nDevelop platform architecture supporting AMD, NVIDIA, Intel, and emerging ARM-based systems.\nDrive graphics subsystem design for high-performance remote visualization workloads.\nPerformance Engineering\nProfile, analyze, and optimize GPU workloads.\nIdentify bottlenecks across graphics APIs, drivers, operating systems, networking, and hardware.\nDevelop tools and methodologies for performance characterization and benchmarking.\nDistributed Rendering Technologies\nBuild core infrastructure for:\nDistributed caching\n\nDistributed ray tracing\nRemote rendering\nMulti-GPU workload orchestration\nCollaborate on scalable rendering architectures for cloud and hybrid deployments.\nPlatform Enablement\nExtend HP Boost support for AMD GPUs and ARM platforms.\nEvaluate emerging GPU technologies and hardware platforms.\nValidate compatibility across workstation, cloud, and edge environments.\nCustomer-Facing Technical Leadership\nPartner directly with strategic customers and partners.\nInvestigate production issues and optimize real-world deployments.\nTranslate customer requirements into platform capabilities and roadmap recommendations.\nFull-Stack Debugging\nDebug issues spanning:Vulkan\nOpenGL\nDirectX\nGPU drivers\nOperating systems\nNetworking layers\nHardware interactions\n\nLead root-cause analysis for complex graphics and performance problems.\nEducation & Experience Recommended\nTechnical Experience\n5+ years of experience in graphics, GPU software, rendering, visualization, or systems programming.\nStrong C++ development skills.\nDeep understanding of GPU architecture and graphics pipelines.\nExperience with Linux and Windows system internals.\nGraphics Technologies\nStrong experience with one or more:\nVulkan\nDirectX 12\nOpenGL\nCUDA\nHIP\nROCm\nPerformance Analysis\nExperience using tools such as:\nRadeon GPU Profiler\nRadeon Developer Tools\nNsight Systems\nNsight Graphics\nGPUView\nPerf\nVTune\nPlatform Experience\nExperience with:\nAMD GPUs\nNVIDIA GPUs\nIntel GPUs\nStrong preference for:\n\nARM64 platforms\nAMD ROCm ecosystem\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience developing graphics drivers or working closely with GPU vendors.\n\nExperience in distributed rendering systems.\nExperience with ray tracing technologies:Vulkan Ray Tracing\nDXR\nEmbree\nOptiX\n\nExperience with cloud GPU deployments.\nExperience with remote workstation technologies such as HP Anyware, Teradici, NICE DCV, Omniverse, or similar solutions.\nContributions to graphics or GPU-related open-source projects.\nCross-Org Skills • Effective Communication • Results Orientation • Learning Agility • Digital Fluency • Customer Centricity Impact & Scope • Impacts function and leads and/or provides expertise to functional project teams and may participate in cross-functional initiatives.
