This role is ideal for a product leader who thrives in 0→1 innovation, can operate across multiple product domains, and is passionate about shaping the future of the PC experience.\nKey Responsibilities\nProduct Strategy & Execution\nDefine and drive the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for HP’s consumer software and service ecosystem\n\nLead 0→1 development of new software experiences across commerce, entertainment, utilities, and advertising\n\nPresent product strategy, roadmap, and business cases to senior leadership (VP-level and above)\n\nPlatform & Ecosystem Development\nOversee product areas including:\nCommerce (cashback, subscriptions, payments)\n\nEntertainment (video, music services)\n\nUtility (e.g., password management)\n\nAdvertisement and marketing platforms\n\nData pipelines and infrastructure\n\nEnsure seamless integration across Windows, web, and HP software ecosystem\n\nCustomer Experience & Technical Collaboration\nPartner with design teams to define end-to-end user experiences\n\nCollaborate with engineering to define technical architecture and deliver scalable, high-quality software\n\nEnsure reliability, performance, and security of the platform in partnership with engineering and security teams\n\nData, Insights & Growth\nDrive data-informed decision-making through analytics, insights, and experimentation\n\nLead A/B testing and experimentation frameworks to optimize user engagement and monetization\n\nContinuously improve products through customer insights and behavioral data analysis\n\nCross-Functional Leadership\nWork closely with:\nData science teams to build intelligent, personalized experiences\n\nFinance and accounting teams to develop financial models and business cases\n\nLegal, privacy, and compliance teams to meet regulatory requirements\n\nMarketing teams to define and execute go-to-market strategies\n\nEngage with external partners to integrate third-party services into HP’s ecosystem\n\nProgram & Stakeholder Management\nLead complex, cross-functional initiatives across a global organization\n\nAlign diverse stakeholders and drive execution in ambiguous and fast-moving environments\n\nRequired Qualifications\n10+ years of experience in software product management, with experience in one or more of the following:\nCommerce platforms\n\nPC utilities\n\nDigital entertainment services\n\nAdvertising or marketing technology\n\nStrong expertise in:\nProduct strategy and roadmap development\n\nCustomer research and insight generation\n\nSoftware development processes (Agile, Scrum)\n\nSolid understanding of:\nDesktop PC user experience and Windows ecosystem\n\nData analytics and experimentation (A/B testing)\n\nMarketing and advertising systems\n\nProven ability to:\nDrive complex programs across cross-functional teams\n\nCommunicate effectively with senior leadership through presentations and documentation\n\nNavigate ambiguity and scale execution in large organizations\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with:\nWindows application development and PC platform ecosystem\n\nSubscription services, ad-tech, or digital media platforms\n\nKnowledge of:\nUX design principles (customer journeys, wireframing, usability)\n\nProduct marketing, branding, and customer acquisition strategies\n\nLegal, privacy, and compliance in digital platforms\n\nStrong background in:\nData-driven product development and growth strategies\n\nAdvertising and marketing financial models\n\nExperience in:\nBusiness development and partner ecosystem management\n\nMBA or equivalent business experience is a plus\n\nWhat Success Looks Like\nDefine and deliver a clear, compelling product vision and roadmap aligned with executive stakeholders\n\nLaunch and scale high-quality, secure, and engaging software experiences for HP customers\n\nEstablish and grow sustainable revenue streams across multiple product areas\n\nDrive measurable improvements in:\nUser engagement\n\nCustomer satisfaction\n\nRevenue growth\n\nPlay a key role in building a holistic HP consumer software ecosystem that enhances the PC experience\nThe pay range for this role is $147,050 to $230,850 USD annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to United States of America candidates only).
