The role creates and executes comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on project specifications.\n*Onside in Ft Collins 5-days a week\nResponsibilities\nExecutes established test plans and protocols for assigned portions of code for end-user applications, systems software, and firmware running on hardware, local, networked, and Internet- based platforms; identifies, logs, and debugs assigned issues.\nPerform Functional and Solution Testing of Video/Collaboration Software\nAdditionally, codes and programs test scripts, automation, and integration activities based on specific test requirements.\nConducts functional, integration, regression, and performance testing to validate software functionality.\nAutomates testing processes using appropriate tools and frameworks to improve efficiency and repeatability.\nMonitors and enforces adherence to established coding standards, design guidelines, and best practices.\nMonitors software performance and conducts load and stress testing to identify bottlenecks and performance issues.\nPrepares and maintains QA-related documentation, including test plans, test matrices, and testing reports.\nDevelops understanding of and relationship with internal and outsourced development partners on software applications design and development.\nParticipates as a member of project team of other software quality assurance engineers to develop reliable, cost effective and high quality solutions for low to moderately-complex products.\nSupports priority projects with direction, maintaining relationships with internal stakeholders and sharing information via standardized reports.\nEducation & Experience Recommended\nFour-year Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.\nTypically has 0-2 years of work experience, preferably in software quality assurance, test harnesses and QA focused tools, or a related field.
