The role implements planned remediations across the hardware stack, maintains comprehensive records, and communicates findings internally. The role demonstrates technical judgment, creativity, and precision, while contributing to project teams for product development and knowledge sharing. The role fosters relationships with internal and external development partners, contributing to the creation of reliable and cost-effective solutions for low to moderately complex products. Responsibilities\nDesigns portions of engineering solutions for electrical and electronic parts, subsystems, integrated circuitry, and algorithms based on established engineering principles and specifications.\nPerforms test and troubleshooting to debug defective hardware/ electronic units, sub-assemblies, and process steps based on established testing plans.\nPerforms validation of tolerances, form/fit/function, shock and vibration, electromagnetic interference, safety, reliability, thermal generation, and system power measurements.\nImplements remediations across hardware stack according to plan, while keeping a thorough procedural record and data log.\nDevelops and publishes updates on resolutions and communicates findings internally, summarizing all results.\nExercises technical judgement, creativity, and initiative with attention to detail consistently throughout work output.\nParticipates as a member of project team of other electrical hardware engineers and internal and outsourced development partners for product development and knowledge sharing.\nContributes as part of the project team to develop reliable, cost effective and high quality solutions for low to moderately - complex products.\nDevelops understanding and relationship with internal and outsourced development partners on electrical hardware design and development, sharing information via standardized reports. Education & Experience Recommended\nFour-year Degree in Electrical Engineering, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.\nTypically has 0-2 years of work experience, preferably in electrical design and tools, software packages, architecture of electronic hardware, or a related field.
