You’ll design and implement test procedures, execute detailed test plans, and develop automated control scripts in Python to improve the efficiency and accuracy of testing.\nYou’ll also evaluate results, analyze performance data, and communicate findings and insights to cross-functional partners, helping shape and refine the hardware systems that power innovative products.\nWhat You Might Do\nLearn to use and program state-of-the-art lab equipment and establish procedures for taking repeatable, reliable measurements.\nDevelop and automate hardware tests using Python and other relevant tools and libraries.\nAnalyze test results and use visualization libraries to identify trends and insights.\nShare data, findings, and recommendations through reports and presentations for engineering and leadership audiences.\nSupport hands-on testing, debugging, and characterization of new hardware platforms and evaluation kits.\nEssential Qualifications\nCurrently pursuing a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.\nExperience with analog electronics, digital electronics, and/or embedded systems.\nExperience using lab equipment for hands-on prototyping, design, debugging, and/or power analysis.\nExperience in at least one of the following areas: audio, digital buses, or sensors.\nAbility to use Python to process, analyze, and visualize time-series data.\nPreferred Qualifications\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nStrong written and visual communication skills, with the ability to represent complex technical information clearly.\nExperience with test equipment and measurement best practices.\nExperience developing automated test scripts and tools using Python, LabVIEW, or similar technologies.\nDesire to work in a collaborative environment where honesty and accountability are paramount.\nAbility to drive tasks independently while escalating and communicating issues, risks, and needs clearly.\n2027 Internship Program Dates: May/June-August/September 2027.
