The ideal candidate will bring strong knowledge of connectivity stack and hands-on experience developing, integrating, and optimizing device software to deliver industry-leading user experiences. You will work at the intersection of Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and emerging device-to-device transport technologies, tackling complex challenges in performance, reliability, and low-latency communication. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge innovations that are redefining how people and devices seamlessly connect across the modern enterprise.\nWhat You Might Do\nDesign, develop, and integrate connectivity software features across Android, Windows, and embedded platforms, including SDKs, frameworks, and system services.\nImplement, optimize, and tune wireless networking protocols and sensing algorithms with a focus on enterprise-scale architectures and deployments.\nDesign, implement, and troubleshoot peer-to-peer technologies to deliver secure, reliable, and low-latency connectivity across diverse networking scenarios.\nCollaborate closely with wireless chipset vendors, industry partners, and internal engineering teams to align designs, debug system-level issues, and optimize end-to-end connectivity performance.\nAnalyze and troubleshoot complex wireless behavior including performance degradation, QoS bottlenecks, interoperability issues, and security constraints in large-scale networks.\nEssential Qualifications\nBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.\n6+ years of experience in device software development, including connectivity features, performance tuning, and debugging.\n3+ years of experience developing software SDKs/frameworks on Android, Linux, or similar OS platforms.\nStrong programming skills in Java, C, C++, or Objective-C, with solid grounding in software engineering fundamentals (OO design, debugging, system-level architecture).\nFamiliarity with radio standards such as 802.11 and Bluetooth, and an understanding of related protocol stacks.\nExperience collaborating across hardware, OS, QA, and cross-functional engineering teams.\nAbility to work independently, drive technical tasks to closure, and clearly communicate root-cause findings to senior leadership and partners.\nPreferred Skills\nProficiency in C/C++ and embedded systems programming for performance-critical wireless features.\nStrong understanding of peer-to-peer technologies and sensing techniques.\nExperience working directly with wireless chipset vendors to optimize connectivity performance and resolve interoperability issues.\nComfort working across diverse platforms including Linux, Windows, embedded systems, cloud-managed networks, and mobile OS stacks.\nExpertise in wireless performance analysis using tools such as Wireshark, logging frameworks, and low-level tracing.\nSalary Range: $140,000 - $225,000\nCompensation & Benefits (Full-Time Employees)\n\nThe salary range for this role is listed above.
