May seek advice tomake decisions on complex business issues.\nResponsibilities:\nDesigns engineering solutions, including methods, operation sequences, and processes for the manufacturing of parts, component sub- assemblies, and final assemblies, based on established engineering principles and in accordance with general specifications and requirements.\n\nDevelops and implements cost estimates, capacity models, time standards, production area layouts, and recommendations for tooling and process requirements for new product introductions.\n\nCollaborates and communicates with management, internal, and outsourced manufacturing and development partners regarding process and standards compliance, recording and reporting issues, and recommendations for problem resolution for manufacture of existing products.\n\nRepresents the manufacturing engineering team for all phasesof larger and more- complex development and manufacturing projects.\n\nProvides guidance and mentoring to less- experienced staff members.\n\nSubject matter expert for process & tooling (Adhesive dispense, pick & place, stake & bake, vision teaching).\n\nDetermine optimum process setting through comprehensive evaluation to supply best quality products.\n\nPrepare all necessary analysis report and its recommendations for improvements.\n\nWork with contract manufacturing to ensure process are capable, control in place, meet cost target & delivery requirement.\n\nEducation and Experience Required:\nBachelor's or Master's degree in a technology or manufacturing-relatedengineering discipline or equivalent.\n\nTypically 4-6 years experience.\n\nExperienced in setup or start up a new line will be advantage.\n\nKnowledge and Skills:\nUsing engineering tools and software packages to design and automate manufacturing processes.\n\nStrong analytical and problem-solvingskills(Minitab/JMP/8D/6-Sigma Fundamental).\n\nUnderstanding of material properties and hardware and electrical component design.\n\nUsing empirical analysis, modellingand methodologies to validate manufacturing process and tooling design and specifications.\n\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English and local language.\n\nAbility to effectively communicate manufacturing plans, proposals, and results, and negotiate options atmanagement levels.\n\nSustainable impact is HP’s commitment to create positive, lasting change for the planet, its people, and our communities.
