This role will require someone who can work both on their own out in the field as well as part of a larger team and has excellent time management and prioritization skills.\nHaving a growth mindset, being bold, and willing to pilot new technologies and methodologies to provide the best customer experience is the expectation. Here at HP PWI, we are always looking for new ways to better serve our customers and provide them with valuable training and the necessary knowledge and skills to be highly successful and achieve the highest growth potential.\nAn outgoing personality, positive attitude, experience in training delivery, and prior knowledge of printing technology is preferred.\nThe main duties of this role include (but are not limited to) delivering complex technical training to customers and HP internal employees, covering topics on the entire HP GSB digital press portfolio. Additional job expectations include completing mandatory internal training on time, regular team collaboration with other members of the immediate team as well as global counterparts, and prompt attention to all other administrative tasks associated with the job function, such as expense reporting, follow-up reports, and closing calls in the system.\nThis individual will need to be capable of delivering training and/or value-added service visits on PWI platforms, Digital Front End, as well as all around production support at customer sites. \n50% travel should be the expectation for this position.\nJob Responsibilities:\nDeliver HP GSB Operator training classes and performing Production Optimization/ Ramp up Visits either at an HP Training facility or at a customer site.\nPerform all the pre- and post-class administrative tasks associated with the job role on time, completely, and satisfactorily.\nKeep labs/ sites clean, orderly, and well stocked. Keep presses maintained and in good working order.\nWork as a cooperative strong member of the team providing the best possible experience for both internal and external customers.\nWorldwide and team collaboration on the delivery of common messaging and development of training materials and content for continuous improvement.\nStay up to date on HP press models, built-in and optional features, and their respective value proposition.\nAlways portray a strong professional appearance and presence.\nProvide strong solid communication on customer visits.\nIntegrate technical knowledge and business understanding to create solutions for customers.\nResolve single-and cross-technology incidents independently. Work with team members to resolve unusually complex or cross- technology incidents.\nProactively and reactively look for solutions to prevent problems from occurring in team/technology area.\nApply HP solutions to meet highly complex customer needs.\nIdentify additional services that could lead to future service revenue growth.\nProvide technical consulting during contract renewal discussions.\nBuild and maintain strong relationship up to senior management level in assigned accounts.\nDesign and deliver support solutions using specific industry knowledge and expertise.\nAssist in managing delivery of industry support solutions.\nLead Customer Expectation management as part of escalation process.\nLead cross-team or large programs/projects.\nCoach or guide junior consultants.\nMinimum Qualifications\nFour-year or Graduate Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.\n4+ years of experience preferably in HP products in Customer base, account management, computer customer support, on site customer support, Mission Critical, systems experience, or a related field or an advanced degree with 3-5 years of work experience.\nMust reside in or be willing to relocate to the Corvallis, Oregon area.\nAbility and willingness to travel as required\nRequired Skills\nExcellent communication ability - both spoken and written\nStrong mechanical aptitude\nExcellent presentation skills and engaging public speaking ability\nPositive, “Can Do” attitude\nStrong organizational skills and attention to detail\nKnowledge of print production and workflow\nMicrosoft Teams, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel\nSolid business acumen\nPreferred Skills and Experience\nExperience with HP Digital Presses or comparable digital printing technologies.\nExperience in technical training Field support Customer-facing roles\nG7 Expert and/or Fogra color certifications\nExperience maintaining and troubleshooting compute, network, fluidic, and electromechanical systems\nSpanish language proficiency.\nStrong customer relationship-building skills.\nAbility to facilitate training sessions and maintain classroom engagement.\nContinuous improvement mindset.\nComfortable working in a fast-paced, customer-driven environment.\nThe pay range for this role is $73,800 to $113,650 USD annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to United States of America candidates only).
