The candidate will be responsible for managing schedules, commitments, monitoring progress against milestones, managing escalations, and providing concise updates to senior leadership.\nResponsible for scoping and defining the technical design, driving execution, and delivery of a software feature, solution, or product. Serves as the bridge between cross-functional teams including marketing, Design, and R&D.Refines the requirements and distributes work into logical customer valued deliverables, and opportunistically identifies synergies with HP's existing systems.Responsible for defining the overall approach and architecture and is accountable for defining the overall quality plan for that feature, solution, or product, and ensuring the on-time delivery, escalating, as necessary.\nResponsibilities:\nPlays a critical role in the planning and execution of the organization's most complex and visible projects or programs in support of the continuing evolution of the organization's software products.\n\nPartners across functions to prioritize, plan, track and execute complex, cross organizational programs while maintaining focus on building high quality programs.\n\nDefines processes that comprise the software development lifecycle and mentors, other members of the team, to do the same.\n\nReaches across functions or de[artments to mitigate program risks and resolves issues that affect release, scope, schedule, and quality.\n\nDrives and tracks software releases, features and bug fixes, testing, and documentation.\n\nKnowledge & Skills:\nComprehensive experience in developing commercial software products using agile development practices.\n\nExpertise in managing cross-organizational software development projects from initiation through delivery.\n\nHands-on experience with developing and reporting on metrics for engineering development.\n\nAnalytical and problem-solving experiences with large-scale systems.\n\nComprehensive experience with a controlled software release process involving a product lifecycle management tool.\n\nScope & Impact:\nViewed as leaders within the program management practice.\n\nDecision significantly affect the quality and success of team projects and have impacts on programs that may last up to a year.\n\nProvides guidance for junior team members.\n\nActs as a subject matter expert within the organization.\n\nComplexity:\nHigh: Extensive cross-functional/cross-organizational senior management interface; deals with complex strategic issues.\n\nUnique mastery and recognized authority on relevant subject matter knowledge including technologies, theories, and techniques. Contributes to the development of innovative principles and ideas. Successfully operates in HP’s most complex disciplines.\n\nProvides highly innovative solutions. Leads large, cross-division functional teams or projects that affect the organization's long-term goals and objectives. May participate in cross-division, multi-function teams. Provides mentoring and guidance to lower level employees.\n\nEducation & Experience:\nBachelor's degree in relevant area or demonstrated competence. Typically 10+ years of relevant experience.\n\nThe pay range for this role is$147,050 to $230,850 USD annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to United States of America candidates only).
