Team members will help operationalize data and make data actionable, turning insight into action.\nThis role is expected to:\nDevelop a broad understanding of Procurement business processes, tools, data models, and analytics ecosystems to ensure end-to-end business enhancements\nTranslate business requirements into scalable analytics, automation, and AI-enabled solutions.\nSupport the design, enhancement, and adoption of AI-powered analytics capabilities\nDemonstrate influencing and communication skills to drive effective outcomes, including the ability to engage, advise, and influence at manager/ executive level\nMine and analyze data for predictive, discovery, and prescriptive insights\nIdentify and document data requirements to support both ongoing and ad hoc analysis\nCombine innovation with operational excellence\nMonitor data integrity\nExplore and examine data from multiple disconnected sources\nKey responsibilities:\n1. Data Mining & Predictive Analytics:\nAnalyze large datasets (i.e spend, purchase orders, suppliers, contracts, and market indices) to identify patterns, correlations, and insights.\nDevelop and apply statistical models and algorithms to interpret complex data and support decision-making with valuable insights.\n2. Insight-Driven Analytics:\nPrioritize creative and innovative problem-solving that aligns with and fuels business strategy, focusing on forward-thinking, actionable outcomes rather than just retrospective reporting.\n3. Process Improvement and Data Pipelines & Automation:\nIdentify opportunities for improving data management processes and implementing best practices.\nUtilize advanced data analysis tools and technologies (e.g., SQL, Python, Tableau, Power BI, Databricks) to extract, manipulate, and visualize data.\nEvaluate AI-generated outputs for accuracy, business relevance, and usability. 4. Storytelling with Data:\nConvey complex information into executive-ready insights and recommendations grounded in data. 5. Collaboration and Support:\nPartner x-functionally within the Procurement Organization to understand business priorities and translate them into strategies and solutions \nProvide guidance and mentorship to junior team members and promote best practices in analytics and AI-enabled decision support. 6. Compliance and Best Practices:\nEnsure compliance with data privacy regulations and industry standards.\nStay updated on emerging trends and technologies in data analysis and data management\nSkills and Competencies:\nAdvanced analytics using SQL, Python, Power BI, Databricks, and related tools.\nExperience with AI-enabled analytics solutions, natural language query tools, analytics agents, semantic models, and training datasets.\nStrong understanding of data modeling, metadata management, and business rule design.\nKnowledge of data governance, responsible AI principles, and data quality practices.\nStrong communication, storytelling, stakeholder management, and influencing skills.\nEducation Requirements:\nA bachelor’s degree in data science, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field is required.\nA master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., MBA with a focus on analytics, MS in Data Science or Business Analytics) is preferred and can be advantageous for advanced roles.\nProficiency in English Professional Experience:\n5-7+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably within Procurement /Supply Chain or a related field.\nExperience building advanced analytics, automation, or AI-enabled analytics solutions.\nExperience working with large and complex datasets and cross-functional stakeholders.\nIndustry Knowledge: Experience in a relevant industry (e.g., manufacturing, technology) can be beneficial\nDisclaimer\nThis job description describes the general nature and level of work performed in this role.
