The role manages and leads cross-functional program teams, delivers professional reports, develops schedules, budgets and resource plans, and tracks progress against the establishes plans, while leading less-experienced staff members. The role also identifies risks and creates mitigation plans, and reports the same to executive management. Responsibilities\nManages and leads a program involving one or more functions and project teams to drive the engineering development and implementation process for a subsystem or component of a product or service offering.\nLeads moderate to high complexity projects, delivering professionally written reports, and supports the realization of operational and strategic plans.\nUnderstands the technical concepts, architecture, systems, development methods, and disciplines associated with the defined program, and utilizes knowledge to accelerate project completion.\nLeads the deployment, launch, and continuous improvement of new technologies & process automation developed within the company's worldwide engineering team.\nDevelops schedules, critical deliverables, budget, resource allocation plan, logistics, and other support requirements for assigned program in collaboration with both the company & contract manufacturing teams.\nCoordinates activities of supporting project teams and internal and external development partners; tracks progress against established plan and makes decisions to alter or update schedule and resource allocation to meet product requirements and development schedule.\nCommunicates program progress, escalations, and issue analysis to product stakeholders; collaborates with management and internal manufacturing and development partners to implement changes to product, process, or program plan to resolve escalated issues, produce solutions, and ensure adherence to budgets and established product roadmaps and schedules.\nLeads bug tracking resolution and reporting of program risks, status, and options for resolution to executive management.\nSolves difficult and complex problems with a fresh perspective, demonstrating good judgment in selecting creative solutions and managing projects independently.\nLeads and provides guidance and mentoring to less-experienced staff members. Education & Experience Recommended\nFour-year or Graduate Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.\nTypically has 4-7 years of work experience, preferably in engineering development and implementation, project planning tools and software packages, people management, or a related field or an advanced degree with 3-5 years of work experience.
