The role will partner with Supply Chain, Business, IT, and external stakeholders to translate business requirements into analytical solutions, dashboards, KPIs, and data-driven recommendations.\nThe ideal candidate combines strong SQL, Python, data visualization, data quality, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities with an understanding of supply chain processes and experience working in complex transformation environments.\nKey Responsibilities\nData Analysis & Insights\nAnalyze large and complex datasets using SQL, Python, Excel, and other analytical tools to identify trends, patterns, anomalies, and business opportunities.\nTranslate complex business problems and supply chain requirements into structured analytical approaches and actionable insights.\nPerform root-cause, variance, and exploratory analysis to identify drivers behind data quality, operational, planning, and process issues.\nDevelop analytical models, metrics, and data-driven recommendations to support business and operational decision-making.\nPerform data profiling, validation, reconciliation, and quality analysis across multiple data sources and systems.\nIdentify gaps in data completeness, accuracy, consistency, and timeliness and collaborate with business and technology teams to drive resolution.\nAnalyze supply chain data across demand, supply, inventory, product, supplier, BOM/master data, and transactional data.\nAutomate recurring data analysis, validation, reporting, and monitoring activities using SQL, Python, or related technologies.\nBusiness Intelligence, Reporting & Visualization\nDesign, develop, and maintain dashboards, KPIs, scorecards, and analytical reports using Power BI or Tableau.\nConvert complex data into clear visualizations and executive-ready insights that enable timely business decisions.\nEstablish scalable metrics and reporting solutions to track data quality, operational performance, trends, and transformation outcomes.\nPartner with stakeholders to define KPIs, reporting requirements, business rules, and data definitions.\nData Management & Digital Transformation\nWork with structured data from multiple enterprise systems and support data extraction, transformation, integration, and reconciliation activities.\nUnderstand data flows and dependencies across source systems, data platforms, analytical layers, and downstream reporting solutions.\n· Support enterprise digital transformation initiatives involving SAP platforms such as ARIBA, BTP, IBP, and EBW.\n· Participate in solution design, requirements validation, testing, UAT, and deployment of data and analytics solutions.\n· Contribute to advanced analytics, machine learning, Generative AI, and intelligent automation opportunities where applicable.\nSupply Chain & Business Partnership\nSupport analytics for Supply Chain Planning, including demand and supply planning, product availability, inventory, and operational performance.\nPartner with Supply Chain, Business, IT, Analytics, and external teams to investigate data and process issues and translate findings into business actions.\nSupport large-scale supply chain transformation programs through data analysis, KPI tracking, testing, issue resolution, and decision-support analytics.\nCommunicate analytical findings clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders, including senior leadership.\nManage multiple analytical assignments and deliverables in a global, cross-functional environment.\nSkills & Competencies\nCore Data Analytics Skills\nStrong hands-on experience with SQL for querying, joining, aggregating, and analyzing large datasets.\nProficiency in Python for data analysis, manipulation, validation, and automation.\nStrong experience with Power BI and/or Tableau for dashboard development and data visualization.\nExperience performing root-cause, trend, variance, and exploratory analysis.\nStrong understanding of data quality principles, including completeness, accuracy, consistency, validity, and reconciliation.\nExperience with data modeling, data transformation, ETL concepts, and data integration.\nAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills for analysis, reconciliation, and rapid business investigation.\nAbility to convert ambiguous business problems into data requirements, analytical logic, metrics, and insights.\nSupply Chain & Business Skills\nUnderstanding of supply chain, planning, inventory, procurement, manufacturing, supplier, or operations processes.\nExperience analyzing supply chain and operational datasets is strongly preferred.\nExposure to ERP and enterprise data environments, with SAP knowledge preferred.\nAbility to communicate analytical findings through business narratives, dashboards, and executive presentations.\nExperience working in Agile and cross-functional environments; familiarity with JIRA and TestRail is desirable.\nStrong stakeholder management, communication, prioritization, and attention to detail.\nExposure to machine learning, Generative AI, or advanced analytics is desirable.\nQualifications & Experience\n8-12 years of relevant experience in data analytics, business analytics, supply chain analytics, operations analytics, business intelligence, or related roles.\nDemonstrated hands-on experience with SQL, data visualization/BI tools, and large datasets.\nExperience using Python for analytics or automation is strongly preferred.\nExperience in supply chain, planning, procurement, manufacturing, or operations analytics is preferred.\nExperience supporting large-scale digital or supply chain transformation initiatives is an advantage.\nBachelor’s or Bachelor’s + Masters degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Supply Chain, Operations, Business Analytics, or a related discipline.\nRelevant certifications in SQL, Python, Power BI, Tableau, Data Analytics, or cloud/data technologies are advantageous.\nComplexity\nWorks on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of multiple factors.\nDisclaimer\nThis job description describes the general nature and level of work performed in this role.
