Our innovation springs from a team of individuals, each collaborating and contributing their own perspectives, knowledge, and experience to advance the way the world works and lives.\nWe are looking for visionaries, like you, who are ready to make a purposeful impact on the way the world works.\nAt HP, the future is yours to create!\nDetails\nBased in our CM partner factory (about 20 km south/west from Sriperumbudur) - transport to factory on their own\nCandidate is/will be local (lives in Chennai area and can daily commute to factory)\nSpeak English and local language (Tamil)\nHas product quality/manufacturing experience in electronics industry\nGood understanding of SMT/PCA manufacturing, SPP/SPI, P&P, AOI, ICT, SA, FBT\nKnowledge of process/product quality, IQC/IPQC/OQC and line/process audits (ISO, Agency, ESD, RM/FG handling, SOP, etc.)\nStrong quality tools knowledge/experience (RC/CAPA, 8D, Lean 6S, Kaizen, etc.)\nGood understanding of current PC technology/architecture and HW/SW\nKnowledge of programming/scripting and data mining/analytics is an advantage\nWorking Mon-Fri/Sat, business hours\nAbility to support during weekends and out of business hours\nDevelops an understanding of the organization's inspection methods, quality guidelines, best practices, risk management practices, etc.\nDesigns and integrates quality requirements, processes, and practices into the manufacturing of a product or solution\nSupports NPI (new product introduction/implementation) at factory\nCrafts test strategies using various test methodologies, builds test setups, automates test frameworks and tests plans\nProvides tangible feedback and proposes further changes to improve product quality and minimize risk of failures\nImplements specified changes to product or process to reduce defects, improve quality, and lower costs\nWorks independently on moderate scope problems by applying professional expertise, exercising judgment, and resolving issues via root-cause analysis while following company policies and procedures\nConsolidates and analyzes quality reports, test data, and process results for assigned portions of components to identify trends and issues\nCommunicates product and process issue analysis to quality engineering leader and product team, and drives continuous improvement\nDevelops conclusions, recommendations, and written consolidated reports, contributing proactively through research, and sharing knowledge to foster a knowledge management culture\nKnowledge and Skills:\nFamiliar with PC or 3C (computer, communication, and consumer electronics) products manufacturing processes\nExperienced with using engineering tools and software to evaluate products and manufacturing processes\nAble to do a first level issue triage on manufacturing technical and quality issues\nData driven with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills in manufacturing environment\nSelf-motivated and proactive with demonstrated creative and critical thinking capabilities\nFits in well with a team, understands capabilities and priorities while fostering a collaborative environment\nEffectively communicates project plans/proposals/results and follows up actions to closure\nAble to negotiate options at management levels\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills\nEducation and Experience Required:\nBachelor/Master degree in Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical, or equivalent\nTypically 5-10 years of experience, 5 years in PC/3C products related industry\nSustainable impact is HP’s commitment to create positive, lasting change for the planet, its people, and our communities.
