Responsibilities include reading specifications and blueprints, making recommendations for adjustments to assembly and production processes, determining whether to accept or reject items, inspecting and testing materials and products, and reporting on inspection results.\nWhat you will do:\nThe following items represent the essential functions and accountabilities for this position. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the job.\n Perform NDT and/or assist NDT Technician with tasks associated with non-destructive testing\nCreate NCR and DMR reports\nPerform First Article Inspections with reports\nConduct analyses of raw materials, in-process materials, finished goods and environmental samples, checking for quality and that they meet necessary specifications\nMonitor testing procedures and processes to ensure tests performed are done according to item specifications, protocols and standard test methods\nInterpret test results and compare them to the specifications and control limits in place while providing recommendations on the appropriateness of data\nComplete documentation necessary for the support of testing procedures, including inventory forms, data capture forms and equipment logbooks\nEnsure equipment is calibrated, validated and maintained properly and ensure safety during operation of equipment\nAssess analytical and testing methods and procedures in order to determine how they can be improved in the future\nDemonstrates the H&P Company values: Actively C.A.R.E., Service Attitude, Innovative Spirit and Teamwork\nWhat you need:\nFamiliar with API, ASME, AWS, ANSI/ASNT\nComfortable reading blueprints; familiar with GD&T\nAble to use/read measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, etc)\nGood PC skills: Excel, Word, etc. Able to learn ERP/MRP system\nGood written and oral communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively\nWhat we offer:\nAt H&P, our commitment to our people is at the forefront, and that includes benefits that provide employees a sense of health and financial security.
