Responsibilities\nDevOps Infrastructure Deployment\nDeploy and maintain Windows and Linux servers and virtual machines in R&D and manufacturing environments, on premises and in the cloud.\nImplement DevOps infrastructure projects as part of a team.\nMaintain and improve build and continuous integration systems to support efficient development and release processes.\nDevelop and maintain solutions for operational administration, system and data backup, disaster recovery, and security and performance monitoring.\nDesign and deploy complex automation, monitoring, and analysis solutions.\nMonitor and analyze system performance; collaborate with development teams to optimize and scale infrastructure to meet growing user demands.\nConduct root cause analysis and manage incidents to address underlying issues.\nEvaluate existing systems against industry standards and recommend improvements.\nEmbedded Systems Development\nDevelop embedded systems that communicate with secure microcontrollers over I2C.\nTroubleshoot communications issues using tools such as logic analyzers and a systematic approach to root cause investigation.\nPartner with application developers to integrate new hardware into software solutions.\nApply embedded system circuit design knowledge and a security mindset throughout the engineering lifecycle.\nEducation & Experience Recommended\nFour-year or Graduate Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.\nTypically has 4-7 years of work experience, preferably in software development, information technology, engineering environment, or a related field or an advanced degree with 3-5 years of work experience.\nKnowledge & Skills\nWindows domain administration and Linux deployment, including server and virtual machine maintenance.\nAWS cloud infrastructure and Docker container technologies.\nBuild and continuous integration systems, infrastructure automation, monitoring, backup, and disaster recovery.\nC++ for embedded systems development.\nEmbedded system circuit design\nSQL Database management\nCryptography experience and knowledge of security-domain principles relevant to authentication.\nUnderstanding of the engineering lifecycle, including development, testing, and maintenance.\nAbility to investigate complex technical issues and identify root causes.\nCross-Org Skills\nEffective Communication\nResults Orientation\nLearning Agility\nDigital Fluency\nCustomer Centricity\nImpact & Scope\nImpacts multiple teams and may act as a team or project leader providing direction to team activities and facilitates information validation and team decision making process.\nComplexity\nResponds to moderately complex issues within established guidelines.\nDisclaimer\nThis job description describes the general nature and level of work performed in this role.
