This role plays a critical part in enabling New Product Introduction (NPI) success by integrating test strategy, material readiness, quality execution, and technical decision-making across global teams.\nThe position operates at the intersection of engineering depth and program leadership, requiring the ability to influence technical direction, business tradeoffs, and operational readiness. The candidate will work closely with HP internal teams, Canon OEM partners, and international stakeholders to ensure toner supplies systems meet performance, cost, and schedule targets.\nKey Job Functions\n1. NPI Test Strategy & Validation Leadership\nDefine, optimize, and execute toner supplies validation plans across development phases (concept through launch).\nLead coordination of testing activities including DIST, toner lab evaluation, ISO yield validation, e-label, and reliability testing.\nEnsure test coverage aligns with program risks and customer use conditions.\nDrive improvements in test efficiency, automation, and data quality.\n2. Technical Decision Leadership & Risk Management\nLead technical assessments of product design changes and tradeoffs (e.g., print performance, reliability, cost).\nTranslate test data and engineering analysis into clear recommendations for program decisions.\nIdentify risks early and drive mitigation strategies across cross-functional teams.\nSupport major technical decision forums with structured analysis and clear data-driven narratives.\n3. Cross-Functional Program Execution\nServe as a key technical interface across R&D, Quality, Firmware, Manufacturing, Finance, and Procurement organizations.\nAlign stakeholders on priorities, milestones, and deliverables to ensure execution against NPI schedules.\nWork closely with OEM partners (e.g., Canon) and HP international teams (e.g., Singapore, HPPK) to ensure seamless global execution.\n4. Serialization, Traceability & Compliance Initiatives\nLead or support toner cartridge serialization and authentication programs.\nConnect technical implementation (QR codes, data structures, labeling) to business value and operational feasibility.\nEnsure systems support track-and-trace requirements, audit readiness, and future product security needs.\n5. Material Readiness & Procurement Coordination\nDrive availability of test materials including cartridges, engines, and lab equipment.\nPartner with procurement and operations teams to manage inventory, ordering, and budget execution.\nIdentify supply gaps early and develop mitigation plans to avoid schedule impacts.\n6. Lab Infrastructure & Operational Readiness\nDefine and advocate for lab capacity, equipment, and facility requirements (e.g., chambers, staging areas, secured access).\nEnsure environments are properly configured for safe, efficient testing and hardware protection.\nPartner with site leadership to optimize lab utilization and expansion planning as needed.\n7. Prototype Control & Audit Support\nMaintain strict accountability of development hardware and cartridges.\nSupport compliance processes related to audits, traceability, and asset tracking.\nImprove processes for transparency and control across distributed teams.\n8.
