The role works closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and business stakeholders, to drive continuous improvement in the software development and testing processes.\n*Onside in Ft Collins 5-days a week\nResponsibilities\nProvides direct and ongoing leadership for a team of individual contributors designing and implementing quality assurance and test processes and coordinating projects for end-user video conferencing application, systems software, running on hardware, local, networked, and Internet-based platforms.\nDefines QA processes, methodologies, and best practices to ensure consistent and effective testing across projects.\nDevelops and implements a comprehensive QA strategy that aligns with the organization's goals and objectives.\nEvaluates and improves QA processes to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and automation of testing activities.\nPerform Functional and Solution Testing of Video/Collaboration Software\nAdditionally, codes and programs test scripts, automation, and integration activities based on specific test requirements. • Conducts functional, integration, regression, and performance testing to validate software functionality. • Automates testing processes using appropriate tools and frameworks to improve efficiency and repeatability. • Monitors and enforces adherence to established coding standards, design guidelines, and best practices. • Monitors software performance and conducts load and stress testing to identify bottlenecks and performance issues. • Prepares and maintains QA-related documentation, including test plans, test matrices, and testing reports. • Communicates QA progress, results, and challenges to leadership, project teams, and other relevant stakeholders. • Collaborates with external vendors and partners to ensure the quality of outsourced or third-party software components. • Proactively identifies opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction. • Provides people-care management for assigned team members, including hiring, setting and monitoring of annual performance plans, coaching, and career development. • Ensures that proper knowledge and career development tools are in place to support ongoing team member and process development.\nWork from Office in Fort Collins, Colorado Education & Experience Recommended • Four-year or Graduate Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence. • Typically has 7-10 years of job-related experience or 5-7 years of management experience, preferably in software quality assurance, test harnesses and QA focused tools, or a related field.
