The role applies advanced subject matter knowledge to solve complex business issues, and leverages it to drive innovation and technology integration. The role manages project activities, develops schedules, budgets and resource plans, tracks progress against the establishes plans and drives best practices, while leading less-experienced staff members.\n\nResponsibilities\nIf you are our System Manager, Mobile Workstations in Taiwan, you will have to:\nManages and leads a program involving multiple functions and project teams to drive the engineering development and implementation process for a product or service offering.\n\nDevelops and directs development of schedules, critical deliverables, budget, resource allocation plan, and other support requirements for assigned program.\n\nManages activities of supporting project teams and internal development partners; ensures progress against established plan and makes determinations based on analysis of business information to alter or update schedule and resource allocation to meet product requirements and development schedule.\n\nCommunicates program progress, escalations, and issue analysis to product stakeholders; collaborates with management and internal manufacturing and development partners to recommend and implement changes to product, processes, or business practices to resolve escalated issues, produce solutions, and ensure adherence to budgets and established product roadmaps and schedules.\n\nFollows up on open points/actions that were observed during trials; ensures conveyed as actionable items.\n\nDrives innovation and integration of new technologies and quality initiatives into projects and activities in the manufacturing and/or engineering organization.\n\nLeads and provides guidance and mentoring to less-experienced staff members.\n\nEducation & Experience required\n5+ years of project management experience in end to end engineering product development cycle.\n\nFamiliar with PC R&D process, project and product management is a must.\n\nPMP/PMI certification preferred.\n\nExtensive experience with using project and program planning tools and software packages to create, manage, and track project results.\n\nExcellent analytical, problem solving and communication skills.\n\nUnderstanding manufacturing / factory process is a plus.\n\nDemonstrated business acumen and successful experience managing all aspects of programs, including communicating with stakeholders and directing matrixed teams and resources.\n\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English and local language.\n\nAbility to effectively communicate program plans, proposals, and results, and negotiate options at senior management levels.\n\nJob -\nEngineeringSchedule -\nFull timeShift -\nNo shift premium (Taiwan)Travel -\nRelocation -\nEqual Opportunity Employer (EEO)-\nHP, Inc. provides equal employment opportunity to all employees and prospective employees, without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, ancestry, citizenship, sexual orientation, age, disability, or status as a protected veteran, marital status, familial status, physical or mental disability, medical condition, pregnancy, genetic predisposition or carrier status, uniformed service status, political affiliation or any other characteristic protected by applicable national, federal, state, and local law(s).\nPlease be assured that you will not be subject to any adverse treatment if you choose to disclose the information requested.
