This role leads complex, cross-functional programs focused on new product introduction (NPI), technology innovation, and strategic engineering execution.\nYou will play a key role in advancing toner and electrophotography (EP) technologies, enabling product differentiation, strengthening brand protection, and accelerating time-to-market. As a senior technical leader, you will influence engineering strategy, guide program execution, and collaborate closely with global partners, including external development teams.\nKey Responsibilities\nLead large, cross-functional engineering programs supporting new product introduction (NPI) across multiple platforms, ensuring alignment with business objectives, schedules, and product performance goals.\nDrive advancement of toner cartridge and electrophotography (EP) technologies, identifying opportunities to enhance product differentiation and strengthen competitive positioning. \nEvaluate and integrate new technologies and innovations into the product roadmap, balancing technical feasibility, cost, and business impact.\nProvide technical leadership for product development and yield performance, including driving improvements in manufacturability and product reliability.\nManage program tradeoffs across scope, schedule, and resources, ensuring development plans are realistic and aligned with organizational priorities.\nReview engineering designs, simulations, and technical analyses, delivering actionable feedback to improve decision-making and product outcomes.\nCollaborate with internal teams and external partners (including OEM/ODM partners) to drive technical alignment, issue resolution, and program success.\nInfluence engineering direction and decision-making through deep domain expertise and strong business acumen.\nMentor and develop engineering talent, supporting capability growth, technical excellence, and team effectiveness.\nQualifications\nMinimum Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Materials Science, or related field) or equivalent experience\n10+ years of experience in hardware development, supplies engineering, or related field\nDemonstrated experience leading complex, cross-functional engineering programs\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with toner, electrophotography (EP), or printing technologies\nStrong background in new product introduction (NPI) and product lifecycle management\nExperience working with global teams and external development partners\nProven ability to connect technical decisions to business outcomes and product strategy\nTechnical Skills\nProduct development and hardware engineering fundamentals\nNew product introduction (NPI) program execution\nYield engineering and performance optimization\nEngineering design review and technical analysis\nSimulation and modeling concepts (experience applying engineering models to decision-making)\nTechnology strategy and roadmap development\nCross-functional program leadership\nSoft Skills & Leadership Competencies\nStrong communication and stakeholder influence\nResults-oriented with a focus on execution\nStrategic thinking and problem-solving\nLearning agility and adaptability\nCustomer and business impact mindset\nImpact & Scope\nLeads and influences large, cross-functional engineering programs with significant impact on business outcomes\nPlays a key role in shaping technology direction, product strategy, and NPI execution\nContributes to both near-term product delivery and long-term innovation roadmap\nWhy HP / TSS\nJoin a team at the center of HP’s supplies innovation, working on technologies that drive profitability, differentiation, and long-term growth in our printing business.
