The Drill Rig Operator is responsible for the safe operation of various types of foundation drill rigs and construction equipment.\nRequirements\nResponsibilities\nOperate drilling equipment for foundation construction\nInstall large-diameter drilled caissons and helical pile foundations\nSupport transmission line, substation, industrial, and infrastructure projects\nConduct daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance\nPreferred Experience\nFoundation drilling\nLarge-diameter caissons\nDeep foundation construction\nUtility, civil, or industrial projects\nQualifications\nClass 5 Driver’s License (Class 1 or 3 is an asset)\nAbility to work in a fast-paced, outdoor construction environment\nField safety tickets including First Aid, H2S, CSTS, and Ground Disturbance are an asset\nThis is a safety sensitive position and will require candidates to comply with HPS drug and alcohol program\nWork Environment\nConstruction environment\nOutdoors, including travel to remote locations\nExposure to loud noises\nExposure to extreme temperatures\nPhysical elements include bending, twisting, crouching, kneeling, standing for long periods of time, lifting weights up to 50 pounds frequently and in excess of 50 pounds occasionally with assistance\nPersonal Protective Equipment (PPE) must be always worn\nAccommodations while on a project are arranged by HPS in either a camp setting or hotel as determined by project requirements\nShift work\nWork schedule may vary\nBenefits\n Extended Healthcare Plan (Medical, Disability, Dental & Vision)\n Group RRSP\n Group Life -
