Measure and be accountable for the short-and long-term project results.\nDay to day, you’ll...\nUnderstand the business needs of the internal and external customer\n\nProvide subject matter expertise for Expat operations and 3rd Party Systems\n\nEscalation resolution between external vendors and Expat teams\n\nOwn overall responsibility for the success of assigned projects\n\nDefine project objectives and deliverables to meet those needs\n\nIdentify assumptions and constraints that impact schedule, resources, costs, quality, and risk\n\nDefine scope, schedule, budget, and quality levels for the project\n\nIdentify, obtain, and organize necessary project resources\n\nPrepare and execute plans for quality, change control and communications\n\nExecute against the Project Plan while controlling and reporting on scope, schedule, quality, costs, resources, and risks\n\nVerify and document project results\n\nComplete all tasks necessary to close the project, transitioning to an operational state, if necessary\n\nClient-facing and internal support for day-to-day business operations\n\nWorks effectively across company business units and field teams\n\nOther duties as assigned\n\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Business, Project Management, Management Information Systems, or related area, or the equivalent through a combination of education and work experience\n\n2-3 years of relevant work experience\nStrong operational acumen working with internal and external systems\n\nFamiliarity with formal project management methodologies\n\nDemonstrated decision-making, analytical, and problem-solving abilities\n\nTrack record of establishing priorities and meeting deadlines\n\nEffective written and oral presentation skills and facilitation skills\n\nAbility to communicate with all levels of internal associates, external vendors, and business partners\n\nAbility to work proactively and effectively as part of a team, but with little formal supervision or guidance\n\nEffective supervisory skills in a matrix-management environment\n\nProficiency with Microsoft Office software and project planning tools\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nAbility to lead in a matrix environment and at a distance (virtually)\n\nAbility to work effectively in a diverse work group as a member of a team\n\nFamiliarity with Project Management methodologies\n\nWhy work for us\nAt H&R Block, our purpose is simple: to provide help and inspire confidence in our clients and communities everywhere.
