They will oversee a team responsible for brand activations, strategic partnerships, brand governance, and operational excellence while helping evolve how H&R Block shows up as a trusted year-round financial partner.\nDay to day, you'll...\nChampion the evolution and activation of H&R Block's brand strategy, positioning, and platform. \nHelp shape messaging frameworks, strategic narratives, and communication priorities. \nEstablish clear measurement frameworks for brand health and activation performance. \nLead development of enterprise brand activations, tentpole programs, partnerships, sponsorships, and cultural moments - connecting paid, earned, and owned efforts. \nSupport development of thought leadership, community programs, and cause-related initiatives. \nLead the systems, processes, tools, and governance that enable effective brand management and enterprise consistency. \nPartner with Internal Communications, HR, and enterprise leaders to embed the H&R Block brand throughout the associate experience, ensuring employees understand our purpose, positioning, and role in delivering the brand promise. \nCoach, develop, and inspire a high-performing team. \nFoster a culture of strategic thinking, collaboration, curiosity, and accountability. \nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Public Relations, Advertising, or a related field\n7+ years of experience in brand marketing, experiential marketing, partnerships, sponsorships, program management, or related disciplines\nDemonstrated experience leading complex, cross-functional marketing programs from strategy through execution\nStrong understanding of brand strategy, customer engagement, and integrated marketing principles\nExperience managing agencies, vendors, partnerships, and external stakeholders\nStrong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously\nExperience developing activation plans, managing budgets, and measuring program performance\nExcellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills\nAbility to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization\nExperience leveraging customer insights and performance data to inform strategy and decision-making\nStrong leadership capabilities with experience guiding teams, projects, and cross-functional workstreams\nExperience within financial services, retail, hospitality, or other consumer-focused industries preferred. \nExperience working within highly regulated industries and navigating legal and compliance requirements preferred\nExperience leading and developing people\nStrong analytical mindset with ability to connect insights to action\nFamiliarity with brand tracking, audience segmentation, customer insights, and measurement frameworks\nPreferred Qualifications\nMaster of Business Administration\nExperience in a large matrixed marketing organization\nExperience with franchised, multi-unit retail, financial services and/or seasonal businesses\nWhy work for us\nAt H&R Block, our purpose is simple: to provide help and inspire confidence in our clients and communities everywhere.
