This role blends deep SD functional expertise with strong technical governance over custom development, RICEFW design, integration patterns, and clean-core extensibility in development-heavy, enhancement-driven environments.\n\nKey Responsibilities : \n\n- Solution Architecture & Design : Own the end-to-end SD solution architecture; translate complex business requirements into scalable technical-functional designs balancing standard SAP capabilities with custom extensions.\n\n- Custom Development & Technical Governance : Lead functional specifications and govern SD developments alongside ABAP teams, including custom pricing routines, User Exits, BADIs, complex order scenarios, and output determination (BRF+, SmartForms/Adobe Forms).\n\n- Extensibility & Clean Core Strategy : Define S/4HANA extensibility roadmaps (in-app vs. side-by-side extensions, BTP/CPI) ensuring adherence to Clean Core principles.\n\n- RICEFW & Modern UI Architecture : Oversee design and delivery of RICEFW objects, CDS views, OData services, and custom Fiori application extensions.\n\n- Cross-Module & External Integration : Drive integration architecture with FI (revenue recognition, billing/accounting), MM, TM, EWM, and third-party systems (3PL, CRM, tax engines).\n\n- Delivery & Quality Assurance : Conduct functional code impact assessments, guide peer reviews, lead SIT/UAT defect triage, and support CR estimation and backlog prioritization within Agile delivery frameworks.\n\nRequired Skills & Experience : \n\n- 10+ years of core SAP SD experience with proven architecture leadership on development-heavy implementations and enhancement programs.\n\n- Proven background acting as a functional architect for custom builds and ABAP enhancements rather than solely standard configuration.\n\n- Deep technical-functional mastery of pricing procedures, routines, exits, BADIs, and interface patterns (IDoc, OData, REST, CPI).\n\n- Hands-on experience driving S/4HANA SD transformations and extension programs.\n\n- Prior experience delivering within Big-4 or Tier-1 Systems Integration (SI) environments.\n\nGood to Have : \n\n- Working knowledge of Fiori Elements and CDS-based analytics for SD.\n\n- Exposure to SAP BRIM, Vistex, or advanced pricing engines.\n\n- Hands-on experience working in Agile / product-led delivery models.\nSkills\nSAP SD, S/4
