Our interests also extend across farming and forestry in the Kawerau region.\nWe’re looking for an experienced Operations Planner to join our team and play a key role in keeping our geothermal operations safe, efficient and reliable.\n Kōrero mō te tūranga / About the role\nSitting at the heart of operations, you’ll connect the people, resources and priorities that keep our assets performing. Working closely with operations, maintenance, projects, contractors and customers, you’ll:\nDevelop and manage short, medium and long-term operational work plans.\nCoordinate planned maintenance, outages, inspections and field activities.\nBuild fortnightly and monthly schedules, balancing changing priorities and operational requirements.\nCoordinate contractors, resources, permits and documentation to keep work moving.\nSupport asset management, lifecycle planning and maintenance programmes.\nTrack operational, maintenance, safety and compliance KPIs.\nMaintain planning dashboards and provide clear visibility of upcoming work.\nCommunicate outage and maintenance plans with customers and key stakeholders.\nIdentify opportunities to improve planning, reliability and operational performance.\n Ko wai koe / About you\nYou’ll be a highly organised, practical planner who enjoys bringing structure to a busy operational environment. You’re comfortable juggling priorities, working across teams and making sure the right people and resources are in the right place at the right time.\nIdeally, you’ll bring:\nExperience in maintenance or operations planning and scheduling.\nA relevant qualification in engineering, operations, maintenance planning, asset management or project management - or equivalent experience.\nStrong organisational, prioritisation and coordination skills.\nAn understanding of asset management principles.\nConfidence working with Microsoft Office and planning systems.\nStrong communication skills and the ability to build relationships across operations, contractors and customers.\nCMMS/EAM experience would be an advantage.\nExperience within geothermal, utilities, energy, industrial processing or heavy industry would be highly regarded.\nA current full New Zealand Driver Licence.\n Why join us?\nEnjoy a competitive salary, five weeks’ annual leave and 6% employer KiwiSaver contribution, within a supportive, family-friendly environment.\nYou’ll have genuine ownership, work across complex geothermal assets and see the impact of your engineering firsthand.
