We’re looking for a hands-on supervisor to lead our Veneer Press and Machine Room teams. In this role, you’ll guide employees, solve production challenges, and help ensure every component meets our standards for quality and craftsmanship.\nRequirements\nWhat you’ll do\nPlan and supervise daily production to meet quality and delivery requirements.\nProvide technical guidance in veneer preparation, matching and pressing, panel fabrication, CNC machining, edge banding, and sanding.\nInspect work, resolve quality and equipment issues, and keep materials and jobs moving through production.\nTrain and coach employees, set clear expectations, and maintain a safe, organized work area.\nWork with other departments to resolve bottlenecks and improve production processes.\nRequired qualifications\nHigh school diploma or equivalent.\nSupervisory or leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.\nSignificant experience in veneer processing, woodworking, machining, furniture manufacturing, architectural millwork, or a related field.\nKnowledge of veneer fabrication, wood materials, adhesives, substrates, and quality standards.\nAbility to read production drawings, work orders, specifications, and measurements.\nMechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot equipment, production, and quality issues.\nAbility to organize work, manage competing priorities, and train and coach employees.\nStrong communication skills, attention to detail, and basic computer skills.\nMust be able to move/lift 50 pounds minimum.\nExperience with veneer presses, CNC equipment, edge banders, and other woodworking machinery is strongly preferred.
