The quality and attention to detail remain.\nPosition Summary\nThe Machine Operator sets up and operates woodworking machinery to produce components for CCN International’s custom office furniture. This position is responsible for following production drawings and work orders, checking dimensions and quality, maintaining equipment, and working safely. The role may also include CNC router operation.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\nThe essential functions of the role include, but are not limited to:\nSet up and operate shapers, veneer panel sanders, edge banders, solid wood processing equipment, and other woodworking machinery.\nUse handheld power tools and other equipment to cut, shape, sand, and prepare wood components.\nSet machine controls, tooling, guides, and materials according to production requirements; make adjustments to achieve accurate, consistent results.\nRead production drawings, work orders, and specifications to determine materials, dimensions, and processing requirements.\nMeasure and inspect materials and finished components for accuracy, appearance, and quality; identify and report defects or equipment problems.\nOperate a CNC router when assigned and trained to do so.\nPerform routine equipment checks, cleaning, and operator-level maintenance; report repair needs to the supervisor.\nHandle materials and maintain an organized work area to support efficient production.\nFollow machine-safety procedures, use required personal protective equipment and comply with company policies.\nWork with supervisors and coworkers to meet production schedules and resolve manufacturing issues.\nPerform other duties as assigned.\nSupervisory Responsibilities\nThis position does not have supervisory responsibilities.\nRequirements\nMinimum Required Skills and Abilities:\nAbility to set up and operate shapers, veneer panel sanders, edge banders, and solid wood processing equipment.\nAbility to use handheld woodworking equipment safely and effectively.\nExperience reading production drawings, work orders, measurements, and specifications preferred.\nPractical math and measurement skills for woodworking production preferred.\nAbility to recognize and correct basic setup, equipment, and quality issues.\nEligible to work in the United States.\nEducation and Experience:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent preferred.\nPrior experience setting up and operating industrial woodworking equipment required.\nExperience producing furniture, cabinetry, architectural millwork, or other wood products preferred.\nCNC router experience preferred.\nBenefits\nWhy Join CCN International?\nHealth and welfare benefits available.\n401k with company match\nPTO and Paid Holidays\nMedical and Dental Benefits\nIf you’re ready to learn a craft and make furniture you can be proud of, apply to join CCN International.\nCCN International is committed to providing equal employment opportunities to all qualified applicants and employees.
