Our high-performance solutions are highly integrated, architecturally low cost, and optimized for size, weight and power efficiency while leveraging commercial, custom and novel mixed-signal innovations.\nEssential Duties:\nContribute technical expertise and work within a focused team that designs, fabricates, integrates, and tests RF and electromagnetic components and subsystems at frequencies below 0.1 to 200+ GHz.\nWork closely with scientists and engineers to provide support in developing state-of-the-art RF subsystems for communication, radar, and EW applications.\nAdditional job functions include: solving customer problems, writing invention disclosures, publishing papers, briefing customers, participating in proposal activities, and assisting in marketing HRL expertise.\nRequired Qualifications:\nB.S. or M.S. in Electrical and/or Computer Engineering.\nExperience with C/C++, Python, and MATLAB, and other low-level languages.\n2+ years of Experience with circuit board design and evaluation.\n2+ years of Experience in low-level programming, especially for embedded platforms.\nExperience with PCB design, assembly, and PCB layout software.\nAbility to write test and control software for complex and varied systems.\nAbility to rapidly prototype with evaluation platforms.\nExperience with RF and high-speed digital test equipment.\nKnowledge of Xilinx Zynq SoCs.\nFamiliarity with different families of FPGAs, DSPs, and microcontrollers is desired.\nWorking knowledge of RF components, communication systems, radar systems, and EW systems is a plus.\nApplicant must be able to interact professionally with program managers, co-workers, and customers\nOperate complex electronic equipment\nPerform detailed analyses of integrated circuits and prepare written and oral presentations\nAbility to work well in a team and independently\nPhysical Requirements:\nMust be willing to travel and work in a team of highly skilled engineers on complex projects, and willingness to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.\nSpecial Requirements:\nU.S. Citizen is required.\nAbility to obtain a security clearance is desired.\nCompensation and Benefits:\nPay Range: $105,700 - $132,200\nOur salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location (California). The range displayed on each job posting reflects the target range for new hire salaries for the position. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
