This role requires HVAC certification and a working knowledge of routine repairs. \nMaintenance Technician II | Education, Experience, and License Qualifications \nEducation: \nHigh School or GED equivalent \nExperience: \nTwo years of apartment maintenance experience preferred \nLicenses & Certifications: \nValid Driver's License \nEPA/ HVAC Certification \nCPO Certification is a plus \nMaintenance Technician II | Job Functions \nRepair & Preventative Maintenance \nDiagnose and perform maintenance and repairs in a timely and professional manner. \nAssure all service requests are completed by Hawthorne standards.\nRepair and restore vacant apartments to make ready status in preparation for the next move-in as per company standard. \nAssist with pool maintenance and cleaning. \nCompletion of preventative maintenance according to the guidelines outlined in company policy. \nMaintaining Building & Grounds \nPerform building and common area upkeep daily. Assist in keeping ground neat and free of litter, debris, and pet waste. \nMaintain shop appearance to facilitate quick assessment of supply inventory. \nAdditional Responsibilities \nPromote good professional relations with residents, co-workers, and company staff. Through the LIVE IT culture, always display a friendly and courteous attitude towards prospects, residents, vendors, and other employees.
