With a strong focus on trade facilitation.\nJOB PURPOSE\nContract Management\nDraft, review, negotiate, and finalize contracts with suppliers, contractors, and service providers.\nEnsure contracts are aligned with company policies, legal requirements, and project specifications.\nMonitor contract performance and manage amendments, renewals, or terminations as needed.\nImport Procurement\nManage the procurement of goods and services from international vendors in line with project and operational needs.\nEnsure compliance with import regulations, licensing, and documentation requirements.\nCoordinate with clearing agents, logistics providers, and customs authorities for timely and smooth clearance of imported goods.\nLocal Procurement\nManage the procurement of goods and services from local vendors in line with project and operational needs.\nEnsure with OMCs for the timely delivery of Diesel, Oil & Lubricants.\nCoordination & Communication\nLiaise with internal departments (e.g., Finance, Legal, Technical, Operations) to align procurement activities with project requirements.\nCollaborate with banks for trade finance instruments such as Letters of Credit and Bank Guarantees.\nMaintain effective communication with external stakeholders, including vendors, contractors, banks, and clearing agents.\nPeople Management Responsibilities:\nManage team dynamics, set clear goals, and align team efforts with departmental and organizational objectives.\nEnsure effective administration and discipline for self and team, including adherence to break schedules, attendance, overtime, leave policies, and dress code standards, where applicable.\nMonitor and manage the achievement of individual and team performance, ensuring accountability and consistent performance where applicable.\nEnsure continuous training and development opportunities for self and direct reports;
