The Sales Representative II provides technical assistance through the sales lifecycle from selection to installation of the product and is focused on obtaining the maximum amount of business with the best profit margin. The position is responsible for ongoing relationship development with customers.\nResponsibilities\nScheduling and making sales calls with new and established customers, end users, and contractors; initiating joint sales calls and jobsite visits with customers including troubleshooting problems\nMonitoring material inventories, DC business levels, handles complaints, assists with collections, follow-up on orders and deliveries and other miscellaneous activities\nProviding timely and accurate sales quotations and proving timely follow up to customer inquiries/complaints\nPerforming business reporting, forecasting, and planning including CRM input; reviewing sales budgets and miscellaneous company data\nMaking sales and product presentations\nRequirements\nRequires B.S. degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology or related fields, or equivalent practical field experience\nRequires general knowledge of refractories\nRequires computer operation skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with advanced Excel expertise\nRequires strong interpersonal and communications skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment\nRequires strong analytical skills and the ability to assemble and quickly analyze data\nRequires strong industry-specific knowledge coupled with the ability to manage supplier relationships\nRequires excellent organization skills with accurate and precise attention to detail\nRequires self-motivation with the ability to adapt quickly\nThe Sales Representative II requires four plus (4+) years of refractory or industrial-based field experience with emphasis on sales and marketing.\nMust be able to travel to customer accounts to provide support to customers.\nPhysical and Environmental Requirements\nPhysical Activity: Requires more than 2/3 of time standing, talking or hearing and less than 1/3 of time sitting, walking, using hands and fingers, reaching, climbing/balancing, stooping/kneeling/crouching/crawling and tasting/smelling.\nLifting: 50 pounds less than 1/3 of the time.\nVision: Requires accurate close and distance vision, color and peripheral vision, depth perception.\nEnvironment: Requires less than 1/3 of time working in an office setting, working near moving mechanical parts, working in high, precarious places, exposed to outdoor weather, wet/humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, vibration.\nNoise: Requires working in quiet
