This detail-oriented individual will work with various teams to ensure HSAG’s Information and Communications Technology (ICT) is accessible to individuals with disabilities.\nEssential Competencies, Duties, and Responsibilities\nConduct automated and manual Section 508 compliance remediation on reports, written analyses, studies, and digital assets as required by contracts.\nFix and format PDFs, Microsoft Word/PowerPoint files, and multimedia so they comply with Section 508 and WCAG 2.1/2.2 Level A and AA standards.\nTest user interfaces using screen readers and keyboard-only navigation.\nAssist in developing templates and formats for company documents. Apply appropriate layout, format, and styles in accordance with HSAG standards as well as contract requirements.\nUse approved styles and formats in Microsoft Word to ensure standardized templates, including document fields and advanced Word features. \nAdhere to timelines for all deliverables. Quick turnaround time is required. \nCoordinate internal workflows and track project progress.\nWork extended hours to meet project deadlines, as needed.\nPerform other duties, as assigned.\nEducation and/or Experience\nDegree in English, technical writing, journalism, communication, or a related field is preferred; equivalent combination of education and experience is also acceptable, including an associate’s degree or certification.\nExperience with Section 508 compliance and document remediation to ensure digital accessibility.\nAdvanced experience with and understanding of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and SharePoint;
