You’ll work closely with senior bankers to produce analysis, materials and client insights that help position HSBC as a trusted partner to TMT clients. The role sits in a fast-paced, regulated environment where accuracy, judgement and follow-through matter. You’ll track market and regulatory developments and translate them into clear implications for clients and internal stakeholders. Success looks like high-quality deliverables, well-run execution support and growing capability across client work over time.\nThis is a role where strong analysis turns into real client outcomes through better advice, tighter execution and clearer decisions. You’ll work across product partners and coverage teams to help HSBC support TMT clients on important moments and day-to-day banking needs. Applicants must be legally authorised to work in the U.S. as HSBC will not engage in immigration sponsorship for this position.\nAs our Analyst, Technology, Media and Telecom, you will:\nBuild and maintain core analysis to support client coverage and transaction execution in the TMT sector\nCreate pitch books and client presentations that are accurate, tailored and ready for senior review\nSupport origination and execution across solutions including Credit & Lending, Leveraged & Acquisition Finance, Capital Markets, Transaction Banking, Global Markets and Asset Management\nMonitor industry trends, regulatory changes and market intelligence and summarise implications for clients\nEvaluate client portfolios, sectors and competitors and package insights for internal and external discussions\nCoordinate inputs across product partners to support timely deliverables and client engagement\nMaintain high data quality in internal systems and ensure outputs align to internal standards\nFollow internal policies and external regulations across all activity and documentation\nYou´ll likely have the following qualifications to succeed in this role:\nBring experience from banking, consulting or relevant sector roles\nApply strong financial analysis and modelling skills to support client advice and execution work\nProduce clear, high-quality written materials and presentations in Excel and PowerPoint\nCommunicate effectively with bankers and product partners to coordinate deliverables and timelines\nDemonstrate understanding of corporate banking products and sector trends particularly in TMT\nManage multiple priorities with attention to detail in a fast-paced environment\nShow a consistent approach to compliance with internal policies and external regulations\nHold FINRA Series 63 and 79 licenses or bring equivalent demonstrable experience and willingness to obtain them within a set timeframe\nAs an HSBC employee, you will have access to tailored professional development opportunities to ensure you have the right skills for today and tomorrow.
